JavaLounge History

JavaLounge started as part of a dream of relocating to Idyllwild, CA. This dream led to the purchase of the JavaLounge website domain 4 years before that dream would become a physical location. For a long time it was no more then a hope and prayer, with owner, John-Richard Pagan, looking at a handful of locations but finding nothing that could be considered affordable or dream fulfilling.

Then in 2004 John-Richard Pagan met his soon to be business partner and friend, Tony Guadagnin, who encouraged him not to give up on the dream. Together, with a lot of determination and perciverance, they made JavaLounge Idyllwild a reality on the evening of February 5, 2005. And the business has remained strong ever since.

Together, their goal to make JavaLounge Idyllwild a place of quality and class has become a huge success. Every beverage is made with personal pride, and thier intention to build an atmosphere which shows the talents of a community built on art, jazz, style, and symplicity has been welcomed by one and all.

Weekdays welcome locals and tourists alike to sit back with a nice book or play a game of chess. Weekends are filled with live music from local musicians for the many local and visiting tourists that come in to town for the day. No one person is more important then another and every one is invited to share in this friendly and welcoming environment as owners John-Richard Pagan and Tony Guadagnin continue to work toward growing this special dream known as JavaLounge Idyllwild.

John-Richard Pagan has helped many friends fulfill dreams from the start up deli to the retail establishment. But his own accomplishments continue to
amaze many of his family and friends. John-Richard Pagan grew up for most
of his life in San Diego where, like many young people, he made his share
of mistakes and mishaps. But more important then his challenges have been
his accomplishments. John-Richard Pagan has had a talent for mastering many
skills from Veterinary Technician to Travel Consultant to Computer
Engineer. He holds quite a few certifications and has recently received his
bachelor degree in information technology. Today, John-Richard Pagan
continues to surprise one and all by moving forward to complete his masters
degree in business and marketing.

JavaLounge was John-Richard's dream, and his passion shows throughout the
business daily. He welcomes each and every one to share their thoughts and
experiences as he continues to make this dream grow.
